  Yes, swimming with tape or bonded extensions is absolutely fine, provided you follow these essential steps:

  • Rinse Immediately: Always flush your hair with fresh tap water straight after swimming to remove residue.
  • Prevent Damage: Salt, chlorine, and UV rays can break down adhesives and cause discolouration if left in the hair.

• How long do hair extensions typically last?

  The lifespan of your hair extensions depends on the application method.

  Tape in extensions need re-fitting every 6–8 weeks but the hair itself can last up to one year.

  Bonded extensions are a permanent solution worn for up to 4 months continuously but are not reusable.

  Clip-in extensions are a temporary option designed to be worn for the day and removed at night and can last for years with proper care.

• Do extensions damage your hair?

  No. When applied correctly by a qualified specialist and maintained properly, hair extensions will not damage your natural hair. In fact, many of our clients find their natural hair grows healthier underneath, as the extensions protect it from excessive heat styling.

  Damage is typically caused by incorrect application, overloading the hair, or using the wrong method for your hair type. Here is how we ensure the safety of your hair:

• Can your hair grow while wearing extensions?

  Yes, absolutely. Your natural hair will continue to grow at its normal rate (approximately 1cm per month) while wearing extensions.
